The 20th Century "Publish or Perish" rule is superseded in the 21st Century by "Patent and Prosper". Therefore, this author could not start FractoGene, unlike his earlier geometrization of biology, with academic publications. FractoGene today (25th of August, 2008) is, however, a peer-reviewed (in fact, peer-invited) published generalization & mathematization of the gene concept to fractal geometry of DNA, serving as design-tool of developing fractal organisms (both natural in Biotech and artificial in Nanotech and Infotech).
August 1st, 2002. Submission by Inventor Andras J. Pellionisz of FractoGene Provisional Patent application
No publication was permitted prior to this date, and quotable publications were not advised till submission of FractoGene utility patent (2003) and during office actions of original and subsequent submissions of the FractoGene Patent Portfolio, elected as "non-published".
January 6th, 2003 Selection of "Early Media response" to Media exposure on FractoGene
